Origins| Hydrate & Celebrate Gift Set – £42.00

Every year I say that I want to kick start my skincare routine (actually start one…) and this year I knew I needed to start and stick to it because this Mama turns 30 this year and I really don’t want to look it!

I did my research and found this amazing value set from Origins that I just needed to get my hands on. The set comes with 3 full sized products which retail for over £79 combined, which is amazing value. I also received an email from Origins offering a free 30ml Night-A-Mins with every online order over £30 so I used that too and received the product along with the set in the post. The set also comes with 3 deluxe samples to try, and I can’t wait to give them a whirl.

Origins| A Perfect World – Age-Defence Treatment Lotion – £24.00

This treatment lotion is specifically designed to help protect the skin against any premature ageing by surrounding it in a protective layer. The lotion is packed with antioxidants that revitalise and hydrate your skin.

I found this product to be very refreshing, it smells great, really removes every scrap of makeup left on the skin, even after I have cleansed! It left me feeling very clean, fresh and my skin felt prepped for my moisturiser and serums. An all round great product that helps to defend against the signs of ageing. What’s not to love?

Origins| Make a Difference Plus+ – Ultra-Rich Rejuvenating Cream – £35.00

I’m the kind of girl that loves a super rich, thick moisturiser. I love to feel the product sink into my skin and really feel like it’s making a difference. This cream is specifically formulated for Dry to Very Dry skins but mine is normal/combination and I love it! However, Origins do have another formulation of this cream which is recommended for normal skin types but I just love the extra richness of the cream.

This cream is formulated to help boost skins moisture barrier and make it feel comfortable and hydrated. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and protected, ready for my serum and ready to face the day.

Origins| High-Potency Night-A-Mins Renewal Cream – £36.50

This renewal cream is fortified with time-releasing vitamins and minerals that help to replenish your skins moisture barrier and help to rid the skin of dry, dead skin cells overnight. This product also helps with dullness, making your skin look refreshed and radiant. Who doesn’t want to wake up to amazing skin?

Even though this product doesn’t state this, as it renews skins cells overnight, it also slowly helps with ageing of the skin. (A perfect partner for the Perfect World Treatment Lotion)

I love this cream! Just like the Make A Difference, this cream is a nice, rich consistency that glides onto the skin and feels like it sinks in ready to make you look amazing. This cream also comes in an oil free formulation so if you have oily skin, that would be the best formulation for you. It smells amazing and I can already see the difference that this cream and my new skincare routine is doing for my skin.

Origins| Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream – £20.50

Origins clinically-proven morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles, helps to get rid of those unsightly bags and helps puffiness to virtually disappear. This products main ingredient? Coffee Beans! Yep, coffee for the eyes! So Coffee Beans along with Panax Ginseng and Magnolia Extract help to brighten the eye area and help you get that sparkle back into your eyes. The cream is a beautiful pearlised pink, that once you apply it to the eye area, already looks like you have refreshed and awakened eyes.

I do love this product and you only need a tiny amount which per application so this little pot will last you a long time. I use this cream morning and night and I really do think it makes a difference.

Samples – L-R – Drink Up Overnight Face Mask, Original Skin Renewal Serum & A Perfect World Antioxidant Cleanser

I haven’t used these little samples yet but I can’t wait to give them a whirl.

If you’re thinking of starting a new skincare regimen and want to invest a little, then I do think that Origins is the best. I always do my research and listen to what my skin needs. Try to think of what you would like your skin to feel and look like, then do your research into products, try get some samples to try first and read up on what ingredients are best for you and your skins needs.

I currently use all the products above as well as The Ordinary serum and primer and my skin has never felt better. But, remember that expensive doesn’t necessarily mean “The Best!’ Cheaper products on the market can work just as well so shop around and don’t jump into making big purchases until you are certain that you want to give them a try. Always read up and check ingredients to make sure there’s no nasty chemicals in there.

I have used some amazing products from Simple, Neutrogena and Boots own brand, Essentials. These are all cheap and amazing, it’s consistency thats the key, not the price! Something that I am currently working on…
